Cow’s milk with Mascarpone & Piedmont Vermouth

Made by Moro Formaggi and Alberto Marcomini. This cheese takes its inspiration from the French who at Christmas time combine bleu d’Auvergne with creme fraiche and sauternes.

This combination of Mascarpone, vermouth riserva and gorgonzola enhances each of their individual flavours and combines on the palate to reveal pronounced spice of the blue and herbaceous notes of the vermouth.

Definitely a blue lover’s cheese!
