Grown in the lower part of Clos du Cromin where there is a layer of clay on top of slabs of limestone which the roots take time to pierce. Very good density is evident from the start and then an attractive wave of flavour. This is a fine village Meursault with length and depth.

Vinous: 89-91 Points

The 2019 Meursault Clos du Cromin has a well-defined bouquet of lifted granitic scents that turn more floral with aeration. The palate is overtly fruit-driven featuring grapefruit melon and clementine notes full of energy so that the mouth is left tingling upon exit. Just a delicious Meursault to enjoy over the next decade. (Drink between 2021-2032)
