From a 1.5 hectare 1960s planting of Muscadet on black volcanic (Gabbro) rock with sandy topsoils. Fermented with native yeasts and aged 18-24 months in concrete egg-shaped tanks. It’s layered and complex with flavours of herbs, cloves, anise and smoke.
